Guests Guidelines

At Fin's, we love welcoming our community for great food, live music, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. To keep the experience enjoyable for everyone and to support our hardworking team, we kindly ask guests to follow the guidelines below.

Quick‑Glance Guidelines

• Seating is first‑come, first‑served once music begins

We welcome everyone in the order they arrive to keep things fair and relaxed.

• Outdoor seating is not reservable once music starts

On live‑music nights, reservations must be made at least 45 minutes before the music begins. Once music starts, we only take reservations for inside the restaurant — the patio and covered veranda are first‑come, first‑served.

• Most of your party should be present before seating

This helps us keep things moving smoothly on busy nights.

• Please check in with the host — no self‑seating

With multiple sections, we don't want to miss you.

• No seat saving

This keeps things fair for guests waiting with their full party.

• Kindness keeps the vibe positive

Our team works hard to take care of our guests — patience and courtesy go a long way.

• Dining guests have priority for tables

This helps us support our staff, musicians, and operations.

Seating & Arrival

• We offer both reservations and first‑come seating. We offer both reservations and first‑come seating. Reservation availability depends on your party size, the seating area, and whether live music is scheduled.

• We ask that most of your party be present before we seat you.

• Seat saving is not allowed, as it is unfair to guests waiting with their full party.

• Please check in with the host or cashier upon arrival. Guests who seat themselves may be missed due to multiple dining sections.

Reservations

• We accept reservations for parties of 6 or more.

• Smaller parties are welcome to walk in, and we'll seat you as quickly as possible.

• For parties of 15 or more, please contact us directly at (805) 473‑3467 for availability.

• On live‑music nights, patio and veranda reservations must be made at least 45 minutes before the music begins.

• Once music has started, only inside seating remains available for reservations.

• These guidelines help us manage flow, maintain fairness, and ensure a great experience for both diners and music‑goers.

Live Music Nights

• Live music is offered to support local musicians and create a fun, all‑ages dining atmosphere.

• We do not reserve tables for band members' friends or family. All performers agree to and respect our seating policies.

• Music nights can get busy, and waitlists may be used to ensure quality service for everyone.

Respectful Environment

• We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming space for guests and staff.

• Verbal abuse, aggression, or disrespect toward staff will not be tolerated and will result in being asked to leave.

• Kindness and patience help keep the experience positive for everyone.

Dining Expectations

• Fin's is a restaurant first, not a free music venue.

• Non‑dining guests may be asked to give up tables for paying diners so we can support our team, our musicians, and our operations.
